Boots £3 foundation amazes beauty experts as they say it rivals £30 YSL and NARS

Beauty fans have been left in awe by a budget £2.99 Boots foundation they say makes skin ‘flawless’ and ‘radiant’ that doubles up as a hydrating moisturiser’ and saving over £27 every time they stock up.

Shoppers say they’ve switched to it instead of using high-end products like YSL and Nars, due to the massive savings they gain from the £3 Boots foundation, reports Manchester Evening News.

Boots claims their Natural Collection £3 Hydrating and Radiance Foundation has been created with a lightweight formula that glides onto skin, giving light coverage.

They say it contains moisturising and luminescent properties that help leave skin radiant and feeling hydrated. It’s an instant boost for tired or dull-looking skin, they add. It also contains camomile to help soothe and protect.

One five-star reviewer raved: “I have had some really high-end foundations that are like a mask but this is amazing. It’s coverage is medium but lovely and glowing, not sparkly. My skin is very pigmented and it leaves a natural glow, toning down my freckles but not a mask-like coverage. Not greasy just right.”

Another said: “This is a very very good foundation, it is not a full-coverage, but rather something like bb cream but looks very natural, stays all day and it is not felt on the skin. Skin looks great with it. For this price, it’s a gem.”

Another branded it a ‘WEE CRACKER’, saying: “I needed a foundation for dry skin and also for everyday wear as I didn’t want to keep using my Urban Decay as its full coverage. This foundation really surprised me.

“It’s medium coverage but it feels so light and blended in lovely using a brush. It also didn’t stick to any dry patches which was the goal for me. I was worried initially because I seen some of the colours looked quite dark.

“I’m very pale (Irish gal) but this foundation in porcelain was perfect! I’ve found my new everyday foundation. Please don’t ever change this formula!!! For the price, fab!!!!”
