A car has crashed into the wall of a Dronfield home and ‘taken out the gas main’.
The incident, which happened on Shakespeare Crescent, was attended by Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit, who shared these images online.
The car seemingly went off the road into the building.
Luckily, there were no injuries, and the driver managed to walk away from the scene unscathed.
The front of the car was flattened and, when the vehicle had been removed, the destruction of the building could clearly be seen.
Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit said: “Single vehicle collision – car drives into a house and in the process takes out the gas main.
“Four hour multi-agency response to this earlier today for what is likely to be inattention at the wheel – not drunk or drugged.
