Derby’s best-loved shopping destination is set to welcome visitors back through its doors from Monday 12th April, so shoppers can enjoy its wide variety of stores once again.
Visitors to Derbion can browse the centre’s fantastic range of fashion and lifestyle brands, from H&M and Hobbs, to Design 44 and Lush, as stores reopen from Monday 12th April. The reopening will see the centre’s trading hours return to normal for the first time in over a year, including longer hours, with stores staying open until 8pm on Thursdays and Fridays.
To ensure everyone can shop confidently, Derbion continues to implement a number of safety and hygiene measures in the centre. These include the requirement to wear a face covering and hand sanitisation stands at key points throughout. Visitor numbers will also be managed and capacity will be monitored to ensure that visitors can adhere to social distancing.
The food court will be open and offering a variety of delicious takeaway and delivery options, so shoppers can complete their trip to Derbion by picking up their favourite meal to enjoy at home, or order straight to their door. Visitors can choose from a range of dishes, including a tasty burger from Five Guys, flavourful ramen from Wagamama or a luxurious bowl of pasta from Zizzi. In line with government guidelines, food court seating will remain closed until Monday 17th May at the earliest.
Adam Tamsett, general manager at Derbion, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome shoppers back to the centre after a challenging few months. We know that people are looking forward to visiting Derbion once again, whether it’s to update their wardrobe ready for reuniting with friends, or entertaining little ones with a magical trip to the Disney Store, we’ve got something for everyone.
“Of course, the health and safety of our shoppers and staff is our number one priority, and we have an array of hygiene procedures in place throughout the centre to keep visitors and staff safe. This includes the introduction of a new cashless parking system across all of our car parks in order to minimise visitor touch-points.
“When in the centre, visitors will also be able to see our new interior Derbion signage. The Derbyshire community is at the heart of our new identity, and we can’t wait to see everyone once again.”
Zara, River Island, Next and H&M are among stores to be opening at Derbion from Monday 12th April. For the full list of stores reopening, more information on the safety and hygiene measures in-place, as well as information on reopening, please visit www.derbion.com.
