Derbyshire festival aims to break record for biggest number of tribute acts

The organisers have promised ‘non-stop live music’ across the four-day Replika Festival

Europe’s biggest tribute music festival is set to break records this summer when it brings a schedule of “non-stop live music” to Derbyshire’s doorstep.

Replika Festival has announced plans to attempt an official Guinness World Record for the most tribute acts to perform at a music festival when it takes to the grounds of Catton Park in July.

It will bring together a huge number of tribute performers across four stages, delivering mass crowd sing-alongs and a “once-in-a-lifetime festival experience”, according to organisers.

The record attempt will be officially verified by Guinness, with all performances across the site contributing to the final count.

Replika is a large-scale extravaganza of the songs, artists and eras that have shaped generations of music fans.

Spanning six decades of music, from the 1960s to today, the festival will showcase everything from classic rock and Britpop to pop, dance and modern chart hits, all performed by leading tribute acts from across the UK and beyond.

For festivalgoers missing Glastonbury’s trademark mix during its 2026 fallow year, Replika Festival offers a unique alternative.

Celebrating the music of artists who have graced festival stages for decades, Replika brings their tribute counterparts together in one place.

Leading the 2026 line-up are The Bootleg Beatles, widely regarded as the world’s most established and respected Beatles tribute.

Known for their exceptional attention to detail, era-spanning performances and global touring history, their appearance at Replika reflects the festival’s ambition to unite the very best tribute talent on one stage – and at record-breaking scale.

They are joined by Noasis, the definitive tribute to Manchester legends Oasis, as well as Got To Be Steps, a high-energy tribute celebrating one of the UK’s most successful pop groups – although maybe the Gallagher brothers wouldn’t be too impressed.

Representing the boyband era, WestZone brings the music of Westlife and Boyzone to life, delivering polished vocals and feel-good ballads that have soundtracked generations.

Their performances are designed for mass participation, tapping into the enduring appeal of one of the UK and Ireland’s biggest pop acts.

Also featured is Stoke’s very own Dan Budd as Robbie Williams, one of the most established and recognisable Robbie Williams tribute performers in the world.

Together, these acts form part of a wider programme that will see hundreds of tribute artists perform across the weekend as Replika Festival takes on the Guinness World Record challenge.

Across the weekend, festival goers can expect uncanny performances from the look-a-likes of Wrong Jovi, Nickelback UK, LinkN P4rk, Guns 2 Roses, Ed Sheeran Experience, Kascada, Take That Rule The World, Sweet Like Sabrina, Lewis Capaldi tribute and more.

Beyond the music, Replika Festival offers a programme of alternative entertainment and on-site experiences.

The Chipperfield Entertainments Circus Tent (the festival’s fifth stage) will host three daily shows on Saturday and Sunday featuring flying trapeze artists, FMX motorbike stunts, aerial displays, comedy and more.

Family-friendly Bathory Pro Wrestling, the free-to-play Kapow Retro Gaming tent, Rob Kirtley’s Jimi Handtrix puppet show and roaming street performers add to the weekend atmosphere, alongside more than 30 market and food traders.

The festival also supports the Army Benevolent Fund as its chosen charity, with fundraising activities across the event.

Weekend tickets include camping with free showers, accessible, family and quiet zones, while VIP upgrades offer a main-stage viewing balcony, a private bar, and luxury facilities.
