Join the Ultimate Summer Adventure at the ‘Sports Academy’ Holiday Club!
Do you have a child or children in primary school? Then they won’t want to miss out on the excitement this summer!
Following the success of ‘Adventure Cruise’ last year, we are very excited for this year’s club, which will occur at the same time as Paris Paralympics 2024!
For one week only, between 12th-16th August South Normanton Church Together will be hosting the annual Holiday Club. Each day we will have loads of fun between 9:30-12 at St Michael’s Church Hall.
And the best bit… It’s COMPLETELY FREE!!
Every day the Sports Academy Holiday Club is packed with fun and adventure! Each morning, come over to the registration desk where our lovely team will be ready to welcome your child who will then make their way to join their age-specific teams, each led by an enthusiastic captain and coach.
Sport not their thing? No problem! Despite the club name, there’s so much more fun to be had!
So what happens each day?
All ages will start off together in the hall for high-energy songs, crazy games and silly stories.
Then, teams will separate and rotate around:
- pit stop snack corner to refuel;
- wild sports to burn off some of that energy
- fun crafts for the creative minds!
The excitement doesn’t stop there! After an hour of activities, the teams come back together for even more action-packed songs and games.
Inclusivity
We welcome all children, including those with additional needs. We’re dedicated to making sure everyone has a fantastic time! Therefore, we have a designated Additional Needs Co-ordinator who will help the group leaders to implement any adjustments needed. Some of our leaders have experience and expertise working with additional needs.

The whole team at Adventure Cruise Holiday Club have been amazing. My little boy was a bit apprehensive about starting at a new club but everyone made him feel so welcome! He came out raving about what an amazing time he had!!! Both my daughter (8) and son (5) finished their second day today and they have loved it!!! They’ve been singing the songs, telling me all about what they’ve been up to and have brought home what they made both days. They also told me about the amazing snacks!!!
