Live updates as firefighters tackle house blaze in Derby

Firefighters have been called to a house fire in Derby this morning.

Three crews have been tackling a blaze at St James’ Road in Normanton which started just after 9am.

The Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service crews in attendance include Nottingham Road, Kingsway and Ascot Drive.

No details of any injuries have been reported however the fire service has confirmed in a tweet that an ambulance was also in attendance.

Damage to the property can be seen at the front entrance.
