A recruitment drive has been launched for 100 stewards to work at Derby County’s Pride Park Stadium.
Security firm IPM Group, which recently secured a contract to manage facilities at the Rams’ home ground, has put some full-time jobs up for grabs and made dozens of part-time roles available to work on Championship matchdays.
Initially looking to recruit 100 members of staff with the intention to increase this week on week, IPM says no experience is needed for the steward roles with full training provided.
Pay rates start at up to £10 per hour, with opportunities to earn up to £13 with supervisor roles available to candidates with Security Industry Authority (SIA) badges.
Successful applicants will receive weekly pay with ongoing support provided after full training is given at IPM’s own in-house training academy, located in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
Staff benefits, including discounts at bars and restaurants, are also available to those who take up the roles.
A spokesman for IPM Group said: “We have recently secured the contract to manage the facilities of Derby County F.C, including the Pride Park Stadium.
“As such we are on a massive recruitment drive within Derby to recruit stadium stewards. We will have full-time, part-time and flexible roles available, with great rates of pay and perks.
“Full training is provided, including the nationally recognised award in Understanding Spectator Safety at Events and Level 2 in Spectator Safety all delivered by our own in-house expert instructors from the IPM Training Academy located in Rotherham.”
