Many of Derby’s pubs and restaurants will be opening their doors this weekend having been closed since March due to the coronavirus lockdown.
The return of the food and drink industry was announced last month – giving business owners time to put safety measures in place.
Hairdressers, barbers, cinemas, libraries, hotels and bingo halls were also given the green light to reopen.
But while some people cannot wait to get out and have a pint as soon as possible, go for a meal, or get their hair cut, others are still being cautious.
The number of Covid-19 cases has fallen in recent weeks but the virus has not been eliminated and many are still worried about the risk of catching it.
We have created a survey to find out what you think about the reopening of leisure and hospitality businesses on Saturday.
Is it too soon, too late, or just right? And what are you most looking forward to doing again from Saturday that you haven’t been able to since March? Our short survey will only take a couple of minutes to fill in.
This Saturday, we will be covering the reopening of hospitality businesses live on the Derbyshire Live website, so do join us to see all the reaction throughout the day and night.
If you are heading out, send your pictures to Derbyshire Live on Facebook.
