Pizza, crepes, artisan gifts and drinks are just some of the things that will be on offer as a popular Derbyshire market returns for its summer edition. Midlands Market’s “Summer Edition” will take place in Haarlem Mill at Wirksworth on Sunday, July 30, and will play host to more than 40 independent local business stalls.
From 10am until 3pm, people are welcome to come along to this fantastic venue to see what enterprises such as El Capo’s Pizzeria, Bakehouse Derby, Angel Bloom Design and the Naked Wax Co have to offer. Organiser Chloe Conway, 28, said: “I’m really excited to bring together over 40 wonderful small businesses for our fifth market. Our past events have been a great success enjoyed by all and I can’t wait to welcome everyone once again.”
There is free parking at the one-day event, with the venue being wheelchair and pushchair accessible, as well as dog friendly. Chloe, a conveyancer from Ashbourne, has previously organised a number of market events, including a Christmas event at Derbyshire County Cricket Club in November 2021 and an Easter event in Belper.
Chloe added: “I love supporting small businesses when I can. I love when people make things and put time and effort into them – it shows that little bit of extra thought and care.”
