Golf Clubs in Derby
Derbyshire is known as the 'Gateway to the Peak District' and there are few golf courses in the region that allow you to see this better than Allestree Park Golf Course. The Allestree Park Golf Club sits at the edge of the Peak District offering some great views of the surrounding countryside. It is easily accessible from the A6 and has an onsite clubhouse serving food and refreshments throughout the day and a putting green should you need to warm up pre-game.
Set in the grounds of the old Pastures Hospital, Pastures Golf Club is a well-established course built on meadowland. All the fairways are tree-lined making it a course to challenge any golfer.
Mickleover Golf Club is the only private members golf club in the City of Derby and warmly welcomes visitors and societies, many of whom return year after year to enjoy their beautiful course and their excellent clubhouse catering.
Founded in 1923 the members have always welcomed newcomers to the clubhouse. This is reflected by the number of Societies returning year on year. The Derby Ram competition challenges the best in the County for this prestigious Trophy which is presented by the Mayor of Derby.
